Let’s start with what is a vision or a marriage vision and why it is important? The dictionary defines vision as the ability to think about or plan the future with imagination or wisdom. A marriage vision is the ability to plan the future of your marriage with imagination or wisdom.

To answer the question of, “Why vision is important?” we can gleam great insights for Proverbs 29:18- (KJV) which states, “Where there is no vision, the people perish: but he that keepeth the law, happy is he.” The (NIV) versions brings clarity to this great insight, “Where there is no revelation, people cast off restraint; but blessed is the one who heeds wisdom’s instruction.” The revelation is simply this. Can you truly experience peace in the midst of a storm, such as a hurricane? Many are in the midst of a category 5 hurricane. Prayers goes out but survival, instead of peace, seem to be on the minds of many. What if, there is a way to experience peace? What if the storm is your marriage? Peace is still possible.

Jesus said, “In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world” (John 16:33). Hurricane speaks of trouble and the severity of the damages increases as the category # increases.
